By harnessing technology, Precise Air’s HESQ and Operations teams devised an online hazard reporting system that overcomes the challenges of traditional hazard reporting. A lack of transparency, tracking, engagement and reporting often results in an elevated risk profile for clients and property owners because of the potential impact on safety, site uptime, critical infrastructure lifecycle and asset ratings. By repurposing Linksafe’s hazard ID module, the team has empowered our employees to report hazards, resulting in improved hazard identification and closing the loop for Facility Managers through a formal tracking, reporting and resolution process. Precise Air Group is thrilled to announce that we have been shortlisted as a Finalist in the JLL Vendor Awards 2023 – Excellence in Health & Safety Innovations Category. Like all workplaces, we acknowledge that facility managers and building owners have a duty of care to ensure that all hazards are identified and managed as best as reasonably practicable, to protect occupants, visitors, and their clients’ assets. Precise Air Group’s National HSEQ team designed a fast and efficient online hazard reporting system using LinkSafe, harnessing technology to improve hazard identification, reporting and escalation on client managed sites. This solution was borne out of Precise Air Group’s “IT’s OK TO SAY NO” commitment to its workers, to STOP, EVALUATE & ESCALATE if ever they feel at risk in carrying out a task. Congratulations to Richard Bagnato and Michelle Feldman in developing our solution, and providing the training, and special thanks to our Team Leaders whose proactive implementation of the solution has made this nomination possible.

Thanks to meticulous planning and collaboration between TAFE NSW, JLL and the Precise Air teams, the helicopter lift of 15 air conditioning units at TAFE NSW Wyong was completed in just 20 minutes and 56 seconds from engine start to landing – a fraction of the time of a conventional crane lift. Safety and efficiency were our top priorities for the installation at Wyong. The day began with the landing of the helicopter at 7:30 AM and introduction of the crew to the team. Our Project Manager, Sergio Tovar, conducted the toolbox talk to ensure everyone understood the safety protocols in place and each individual’s role in the operation. Clearly marked exclusion zones prevented unauthorised access. This installation at the TAFE NSW Wyong Campus is just the latest milestone in our ongoing program of HVAC and fire upgrades for TAFE NSW. Our Precise Air and Precise Fire teams are delivering these essential upgrades to over 70 sites throughout the state. Our mission is to partner with our clients, TAFE NSW and JLL, to create comfortable and safe learning environments for students, staff and the community. Please take a look at some of the highlights.
