Reflecting our commitment to partnering with TAFE NSW to improve energy efficiency across their portfolio, we recently installed a Fujitsu AIRSTAGE A Class energy-efficient water-cooled chiller at the Ultimo campus. We chose the low Global Warming Potential Hydrofluorocarbon (GWP) HFO refrigerant R513A, which reduces global warming potential by 56% compared to R134A.
This project is one of hundreds completed by our Construction team this year as part of the TAFE NSW ARP 3.0 Statewide HVAC Replacements program. Our ARP 3.0 program spans 43 campuses, from Albury to Wollongbar and Walgett, and includes upgrades to cool rooms, BMS, chillers, cooling towers, boilers, split systems, fans, package units, and VAVs.
“Working with Precise Air Group has enabled us to plan critical equipment replacements strategically, ensuring minimal disruption
and continued support for our educational services. ” said Stephen Owen, Investment Program Manager ARP at TAFE Infrastructure NSW. “The collaboration has been instrumental in improving our overall asset performance and realizing energy savings whilst also making changes towards renewable resources.”
