People Managers taking the LEAD

People Managers taking the LEAD

We are excited to announce the launch our new LEAD program attended by our first cohort of people managers from across the country. Spanning 8 months, the LEAD program features 8 modules designed to facilitate knowledge transfer, drive sustainable change, and develop core leadership behaviours that enhance engagement and productivity. Developed in-house by our People and Culture team, this program is tailored to our unique culture, values, and goals, fostering a sense of ownership and commitment among participants. As the first program within the Precise Academy, LEAD represents our commitment to creating a learning and development environment specifically designed for our needs. We look forward to seeing our team members apply their new skills and share their experiences at the next session in May.

Essendon Football Club Network Season Launch

Essendon Football Club Network Season Launch

The Essendon Football club held their season opening event for their business networking group last Tuesday. As a new member, this was Precise Air’s first event mixing with likeminded members while hearing from AFLW Senior Coach Natalie Wood, AFLW Co- Captain Steph Cain, AFL players, Matt Guelfi and Nic Martin. Cate Campbell discussed her long and successful swimming career that included three Olympic games, where a highlight was her amazingly inspiring story about how, despite being disappointed at finishing 7th in the 50m freestyle final, she bounced back to help the Australian team win the 4 x 100 relay in Tokyo just 30 minutes later.

A Major Milestone: Snowy Hydro Climate Room Handover

A Major Milestone: Snowy Hydro Climate Room Handover

Last week we marked a significant achievement as we officially hand over the Snowy Hydro Climate Room to the Snowy Hydro team. As Principal Contractor, we delivered the full design and construct, collaborating with a multidisciplinary design team—including architects, BCA consultants, structural, mechanical, electrical, and fire engineers—while managing all trades. Building a massive climate-controlled room, size 100mx70m, inside an existing warehouse in 3 months over the holiday season required meticulous planning, coordination, and approvals. A, seamless, well-planned approach and close collaboration with stakeholders made all the difference in delivering on time, with zero injuries. Snowy 2.0 is a major expansion of the Snowy Scheme. It will provide on-demand power generation and largescale energy storage, increasing the generation capacity of the Snowy Scheme by almost 50%. The climate-controlled facility plays a critical role in preserving key hydroelectric turbine components until the site is ready to receive them. To maintain the integrity of this equipment, the temperature-controlled room was designed to maintain a temperature and humidity of +5 and +25 degrees Centigrade and less than 50% relative humidity. Together, we are helping Snowy 2.0 stay powered for the future. A huge thank you to everyone involved in making this project a success! […]

PAAP – Apprenticeships with Purpose

This week Dan Campbell and the NSW team officially welcomed some of our newest Precise Air Aboriginal Pathways (PAAP) students into their apprenticeships. It was also a pleasure to meet Craig Layer and Riley Layer from Ungooroo. Through the Barranggirra program, Ungooroo and Aboriginal mentoring organisations around NSW will offer ongoing mentoring and cultural support to our apprentices, ensuring a strong foundation for success. Thank you also to John Bailey for his leadership and guidance in helping us create a welcoming environment for our new apprentices as they begin their careers with Precise Air. To all of our apprentices, we’re excited to support your growth and providing the training, mentorship, and opportunities to help them thrive in their careers.

Celebrating 10 years on the Gold Coast!

Celebrating 10 years on the Gold Coast!

We’re excited to celebrate ten years of our Gold Coast branch, made possible by a dedicated local team. Early on we understood the importance of having “locals servicing locals”. Positioning our labour locally has resulting in lasting partnerships within the Education, Health, Government, Commercial and Retail Sectors, with many relationships as old as the Branch. We now have a team of over 32, and our service capabilities have grown alongside the team underpinned by a State and National structure offering a full range of maintenance, reactive and minor works capability for the Gold Coast Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) industry. “Our team’s commitment, location and expertise have been the driving force behind a decade of success on the Gold Coast – thank you for making this branch successful” David Ross, General Manager Precise Air – QLD/NT Locals servicing locals. Congratulations to the National Indigenous Rugby Sevens

Congratulations to the National Indigenous Rugby Sevens

Congratulations to the National Indigenous Rugby 7s Sevens Lloyd McDermott Rugby Development Team (LMRDT) on a great effort at this year’s Singapore Cricket Club Sevens. The team won a tricky quarter final against the team from Japan, bowing out in the semi-final to eventual runners up Royal Town Warriors from Malaysia. The players were great ambassadors for their sport, their organisation, and their mob! LMRDT is committed to empowering Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander youth through rugby. Their programs provide pathways for young Indigenous athletes to excel both on and off the field, fostering leadership, cultural identity, and personal development. We are looking forward to the Open Women’s competition in Dubai, and the U16 and U18 boys and girls.
