Precise Air wins Spotlight Supplier of the Year award Precise Air were thrilled to be awarded Spotlight’s inaugural Supplier of the Year – Facilities Management award. “We were honoured to receive this award,” Joe said.  “We were nominated for a number of reasons, including our service delivery performance on the HVAC contract which began last year, and now the Fire contract this year, and how easy it is to do business with us.” Grant Wheaton- General Manager, and John Callaway – Project Manager Facilities – Property and Store Development Spotlight Group, presented the award to Precise Air’s Director, Joe Mazza, and Account Manager, Brad Heppell. Precise Air launch the Chris Noble Apprentice Programme Chris Noble was a well-loved, valued employee who was one of Precise Air’s longest serving technicians. Chris was highly regarded by his workmates and customers, and was passionate about teaching others. Sadly, he lost his life when he was the innocent victim of an explosion that took place in Rozelle in the early hours of September 4th last year. To honour Chris’ memory, his colleagues gathered today to take part in the launch of the Chris Noble Apprentice Programme. The Programme will provide a selected number of outstanding trainees with the opportunity to take part in an enhanced apprenticeship programme. Each year, apprentices in the Programme will be in the running for a number of awards to reward their dedication to learning, to customer service and to how they apply themselves to their work. Precise Air is committed to developing the next generation of HVAC technicians and currently has 19 apprentices around the country, with plans to recruit more in the coming months. We are proud to launch this programme today in the memory of a technician who displayed excellence in his commitment to the trade, his customers and his company.

Precise Air Queensland were proud to accept JLL’s Excellence in Company Safety Award for 2014 last week at the JLL Work Health and Safety Contractor Workshop. Presented by JLL’s Projects and Development Services team including National HSW Advisor Roy Statham, Andrew Read and Jerry Falcnik, the award recognises Precise Air’s commitment to safety on a daily basis and demonstration of JLL’s safety values and systems. “This award is a great acknowledgement of our team’s commitment to taking on board JLL’s safety and project requirements,” said Mark Jenkins, State Manager Queensland. “Safety is an integrated part of our culture, and is an every day practice for Precise Air’s employees, both on site and in our own business,” Mark continued. Chris Noble’s legacy for the HVAC community Precise Air is proud to announce the development of the Noble Apprenticeship Grant Programme in honour of our dear friend and colleague, Chris Noble. Chris was a valued member of the Precise Air team who was passionate about the HVAC industry and dedicated to the professional development and training of apprentices. One of our longest serving technicians, Chris was always on hand to offer advice and assist the younger technicians in all aspects of the job, whether it be a technical issue or working with facility managers to give them the best results. The Noble Apprenticeship Grant Programme offers benefits and training that will encourage and motivate apprentices to become great tradespeople and ambassadors for the HVAC industry. Benefits include participation in the “Noble Apprenticeship Incentive Fund” and remuneration reward scheme, paid employment and on the job customer service and technical training, formal training through TAFE or a registered training organisation and nationally recognised qualifications. Precise Air awarded ARBS 2014 Outstanding Service Award Precise Air has been named the winner of the 2014 award for Outstanding Service and Maintenance provider at the national ARBS (Air conditioning, Refrigeration and Building Services) Awards.
