In the spirit of this year’s National Safe Work Month our Emergency Management Team in Brisbane took time out to consider what it means to be safe from physical and psychological harm in the workplace.
The session kicked off with a film from WorkSafe, reinforcing the importance of being proactive in preparing for a workplace emergency and the impact that a traumatic event can have on workers and first responders.
The Team shared their experiences about work-safe ready equipment and workplaces then got down to business with Fire Extinguisher training using the simple PASS Method.
A big thank you to Michelle Feldman and the National HSEQ team for all of our National Work Safe Month activities!
