The team won a tricky quarter final against the team from Japan, bowing out in the semi-final to eventual runners up Royal Town Warriors from Malaysia. The players were great ambassadors for their sport, their organisation, and their mob! LMRDT is committed to empowering Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander youth through rugby. Their programs provide pathways for young Indigenous athletes to excel both on and off the field, fostering leadership, cultural identity, and personal development. We are looking forward to the Open Women’s competition in Dubai, and the U16 and U18 boys and girls.
